Wow. That was a great one. Incidentally, that was the first of two career triples for Donnie Moore. The other came in the famous 23-22 game between the Cubs and Phillies in 1979, and happened in the first inning! I have to believe, until someone shows me otherwise, that that was the only first-inning triple ever hit by a relief pitcher.
