I love Dynasty League Baseball and have played it for years. I love it so much I provided a free ad for the game this season to thank Mike Cieslinski for the many years of enjoyment I’ve gotten from the game. At some point I will do an in-depth review of the game for the site to so you can get a better idea about the game’s strengths and weaknesses.

They probably reward good play with Partially Gelatinated Non-Dairy Gum-Based Beverages too.
I can only think that he's talking about the simulated follow-thru to start a drill. Whatever they were doing, it must have been seen as really important to start with your hands in the right place.
Gardenhire and Kelly might be riding the coaches pretty hard as well, so they could be as scrutinized as the players.
It's been a funny year in Twins Country. Over the weekend was a piece on how Gardy isn't asking the guys how they're feeling and they're not offering any bad news. As long as no one actually gets hurt in the next six months it's kind of cute, but time will tell if things are changing in the trainers' room. The staff is the same, but they keep saying things will be different so time will tell what that means.
Terry Ryan: I beg your pardon?
Tyler Robertson: Eight bosses.
Terry Ryan: Eight?
Tyler Robertson: Eight, Terry. So that means that when I make a mistake, I have eight different people coming by to tell me about it. That's my only real motivation is not to be hassled, that and the fear of losing my job. But you know, Bob, that will only make someone work just hard enough not to get cut.
I would think its because his normal windup includes bringing his hands to his chest, so if he didn't do this in the drill he would be effectively committing a balk.
I hope Mauer and Morneau are back to their old selves this year, otherwise the Twins are going to suck really bad.
They fired the AAA staff in the offseason because the players coming up from the minors didn't know how to play defense (where to cutoff, who fields the bunts, etc).
That link justifies the existence of this entire thread, in spite of the intolerable number of unavoidable commercials.
Just give me my stapler back & we'll call it even.
