or they could use Nava/Carp at 1B.
I can't imagine the Sox giving up a pick to sign Morales.
Or if they keep Drew, WMB/Carp at 1st. Better platoon that way. Much better.
edit-you prob didn't mean it as a platoon-sorry
What is with the sudden interest in Napoli? Not that he isn't a good player, because he is. But he was a good player last year when the Red Sox signed him for peanuts. Then he had a typical Mike Napoli season, got a year older, and had some plantar fasciitis crop up. Now teams want to give him multiple years with more money? Are they that amazed that he's capable of playing 1st?

Now that he has shown the hip is not a problem he's getting interest that matches his ability
Seattle traded Mike Morse and has Morales. Why would they want to pay a lot of money for Napoli? Sounds like agents making up rumors.
Sounds like agents making up rumors.
Replace "agents" with "teams" and you might have something here.
There's no reason for agents to make up rumors involving teams this week.
He hit FA as a catcher last year. While his hip has not proven to be debilitating (yet), the condition certainly moved him around the defensive spectrum, limiting his FA options.
Davis was one of three nominees for Gold Glove at 1B. Napoli played the position fairly well. Can't see either player being happy at being the regular DH. I really doubt the O's are interested.
Is Chris Davis bad enough defensively to be moved to DH for Napoli? Seems like it'd be a waste to sign Napoli to primarily DH.
Choo would be ideal for the Orioles, but Angelos is probably too cheap.
