In the remake of War Games, the Matthew Broderick character will save the planet by challenging the computer to a game of TLB. Broderick will pinch-hit with a lefty, the computer will counter with a lefty, Broderick will pinch-hit with a righty and ... the computer will grind to a halt because it knows it needs to bring in a righty but the rules won't let it do so.
HAL would have just re-written the rules.
Anyway Earl Weaver baseball from nearly 30 years ago is still probably the best computer baseball game ever* so if they can reproduce that, it would be great.
*OK, I've probably only played 6-7 computer baseball games but I'm still willing to take my chances on EWB.
Do all the computer players do computer steroids in the computer locker room and get good and computer wasted on computer beer after the game?

Agh, I saw a copy of One Last Strike in a supermarket in ARLINGTON yesterday, and almost threw up in my mouth. Whatevers, Tony. God speed your luxurious retirement :)

re-validate the results with him during testing
In skimming TFE I read this as "drug testing". Weird.
EWB is the only game I ever played, but I had fun playing it with my little brother. The Negro League team was teh awesome. What's the opposite of station-to-station baseball? That was their style.

I'm picturing a velodrome with 4 corners and lots of negro leaguers going 'round and 'round.
But I doubt that answers your question.
