My version of TFA says it was April 17, 2009.
I'd guess it was the Yankees game. It was a Friday day game, and the Yankees rallied to beat the Indians by one after Joba was knocked out earlier. The Yankees hit 5 home runs.

I'd guess it was the Yankees game. It was a Friday day game, and the Yankees rallied to beat the Indians by one after Joba was knocked out earlier. The Yankees hit 5 home runs.
That also was game #2 at the new Yankee Stadium, perhaps accounting for the additional interest. (And remember how after that series, everyone believed the new Stadium was going to be a Baker Bowl-like bandbox? You don't hear much of that anymore. Now that the old Stadium next door is no longer with us, the wind currents probably have changed, normalizing the park somewhat.)
