James Shields and Jeremy Hellickson are the most obvious candidates to be traded for the first baseman or corner outfielder the Rays so desperately need (e.g., Josh Willingham, Jason Kubel, Paul Goldschmidt, Billy Butler, Eric Hosmer or Allen Craig).
Say what? Goldschmidt I made trade one of those guys for and possibly Butler given the Rays have the DH. But none of those other 4 are anywhere near worth a solid starting pitcher. Even the Rays could have afforded Willingham or Kubel last offseason -- they paid as much for Pena -- so now they're going to give up real value for them?
