It looks like a lot of the hitters were born in Curacao on the Dutch team in 2009, and most of the pitchers Dutch. The Netherlands actually does a very good job of producing talent on the continent.

If memory serves, Leon Boyd's mother was Dutch and he'd been living in Holland for years playing in the Hoofdklasse, hence why he was eligible.
