All the best actors are on TV now. Virtually all the film actors nowadays are cardboard cutouts holding up tentpoles.
Since nobody took this bait, I'll just point out that the first assertion is interesting. How do we know that someone is one of the best actors, if he spends a whole decade playing one character, with just occasional bit parts elsewhere? It's like returning to the days of Edwin Booth, who traveled all over the country playing Hamlet for twenty years.
Have we gone through this entire thread without mentioning that Paul Giamatti's father was the commissioner of baseball? I feel like that automatically makes him Top 5.
