Those aren't signs. Wright hasn't signed, and Alderson, as do many GMs, has lied in the past about payroll. Worst, the idea that the Mets might be reasonably healthy, financial, yet unable to sign Dickey, who's hugely popular, is a bad, bad joke. The idiocy that the team might improve the quickest by trading Dickey is just bizarre. That they're really going to get a couple of regulars who will promptly improve the team more than keeping Dickey will is nonsensical.
