Backman is known to be a great motivator and teacher. He won’t wave a magic wand and make this 4-A squad a contender, but I guarantee the players will maximize their potential- whatever that may be. Douglaston, I used to live a couple of LIRR stops from there. But I moved away in '08, so no wonder I've never heard of this restaurant. It's a Gold-Coasty part of Queens, at one end of the Manhasset/Great Neck wealth continuum. Restaurants open and fail there at a terrific rate – as others have noted, they do so everywhere, for that matter.

Well, I have to tell you that a restaurant is a very tricky investment. More than half of them go under within the first six months. If I were your accountant I would have to strongly advise you against it, as...as an accountant.
