I like the idea of Bryce Harper's go-to insult being "dreadful".
So let's not mince words: The 2013 Mets are a boring, life-sucking disaster. Their roster boasts the third-worst combined Wins Above Replacement in the major leagues, leading only the Marlins and the Astros — two teams that, by year's end, could be among the five worst teams in baseball history.
I guess that the Mets best hope for a quick turnaround for this franchise is a rotation comprised of Harvey, Wheeler, Syndergaard, and Montero eventually leading the team to success. Hoping for that much pitching to pan out isn't usually the best idea.
Yurt of Yerks
Cheer up Mets fans. Your team is at least better than the Marlins and Astros.
