It's quite possible that Alderson and team are doing a great job remaking the farm system. Stuff like that takes a while to bear fruit. It is fair to say there's not a lot of concrete evidence the team is better off having them in charge at this point.
"Moneyballs" would be a great title for the parody version. Probably a bit too close to the original though.
