Congratulations to our unanimous MMP Mike Schmidt! I don’t have a template set up for putting results in a tabular format but figured we needed results posted.

Not anymore there isn't!
As to the (relative) lack of attention, I'd note that most folks were too busy refreshing the waiver wires of their multiple fantasy football leagues to spend much time focusing on the triple crown. Well that and racism.
Also, his English isn't particularly great. Talk show appearances aren't booked based on merit, they're booked based on who will draw and keep viewers. A guy who's struggling to have a conversation in English is going to be a brutal interview in a talk show format.
Agree, dumb article.
I think pro-Nazi has killed a few people. Also, ephedra says hello.
Is it?
I got back into collecting cards in '04-06, and the two people I was "investing" in was Miggy and Kemp. From Wed-Fri. night on ebay I was able to sell most cards at 2x-3x the value I paid for them. You also have to factor in that overall the card collecting market is significantly less than what it was 6-10 years ago because of the economy. Collections are one of the first things to go.
After that initial spike, the Miggy market has settled some, but most RC, auto, and other high priced relics are still being sold for close to 2x what they were 7-8 years ago.
He's been my favorite Hispanic player for a long time.
I hear people talking about god every day.
That flat Midwest thing kind of like Minnesota but without all the "oooooo"s
This hurdle has not prevented the MLB Network from giving Omar Vizquel an analyst job this post-season.
The Northern Cities Vowel Shift? It applies to Minneapolis, but not rural MN. Doesn't stop until you get past Syracuse.
Cabrera is going to probably be awarded the MVP without being the league's best player. That seems like some nice recognition.
I'll take "Because He Wears An Olde English D On His Chest And Not Pinstripes" for $500, Alex.
Jeter only speaks whatever language they speak in Michigan

I've always felt that my Michigander (non-)accent has aided me in my chequered broadcasting career. I sound like I'm from nowhere, which comes in handy if you're reading the news and don't want to distract listeners with a strong accent. (Especially heah in Noo Yawk!)
