    Watching the game last night it's very noticeable the A's have that cocky edge good ball teams have. Haven't seen that in a while in Oakland. And, the Red Sox are really bad. Really, really bad. Also, the actor that played Bernie--Terry Kiser--was having a blast at the Coliseum last night. I wonder if he ever thought his starring turn in Weekend at Bernie's would lead to a weird baseball related dance crazy 20 years later? I loved how the A's broadcast showed a graphic listing his other credits as episodes of The Fall Guy and Three's Company.

    My brother and I absolutely loved Weekend at Bernie's. For the sake of my own self-worth I'm choosing to never revisit that film.

    Yes. A few years back I revisited an iconic film from my childhood, The Dark Crystal. It was absolutely AWFUL, did not hold up, and ruined some cherished memories.

    This weekend I plan to do the same for Labyrinth.

    I've re-watched both Weekend at Bernie's movies as an adult (more than once) and they held up pretty much as well as they did to me when I was a kid. They're stupid, but pretty enjoyable to me even now.

    Nostalgia could not do the same for the original Transformers series, and I've pretty much rejected all things Transformers since.

    Don't forget Plan 9 From Outer Space. You won't be disappointed in how disappointed you'll be.
