In the DET@TOR game, what's with the pink & blue arm sleeves?
Is this going on in other games?
I think Fox1 is going to have a whole lot of NASCAR, among whatever other programming they can come up with - it's replacing SPEED.
and: CFB over MGL
Pulling Wainwright for Mujica does not work out.
C'mon, it's Fox. Were you really expecting F-1? Monte Carlo and girls in fancy dresses? Do you ask for some grey poupon with your Whopper?
(I'm kidding you.)
So SPEED is going away? That's a bit sad but I guess that's the way of the world. With everybody migrating to bulging urban cities, and heat-seeking helicopters that can spot rural grow-ops, and computers replacing screwdrivers under the hood, and cameras mounted on poles that can measure your speed, take a photo of your plate, and mail you a ticket three weeks later? We're getting into the second generation of people who are growing up and not knowing what the left lane is for, so it's not surprising that a channel dedicated to car racing has had to rebrand and start broadcasting more than racing.
I don't look for it, but a few times I have stumbled upon a show called Back in the Day narrated by Dale Earnhardt Jr. which shows a highlighted version of old NASCAR races. David Pearson, Richard Petty, Cale Yarborough. Even Lee Roy Yarborough. Bobby, Donnie, Steven, Daisy, Benny, Bobby Jr, and Shemp Allison. Fireball Roberts. Ricky Rudd. Sometimes Mario Andretti will show up.
