Anyone happen to know the last time two 18-inning games have occurred on the same day?
August 15, 2006 was the only date I could find on BR PI.
CHC 8 @ HOU 6 (18)
ARI 2 @ COL 1 (18)
Bob Uecker?! I thought you were Boog Powell!
If you really want to damn him with faint praise you could just flash the lamp on your table like Scotty did in that belly dancer cafe on Argelius II.
H Ramirez singled to center, N Punto scored.
C Kershaw ran for H Ramirez.

42 LOB? Woah Nelly, that's gotta be close to a record. More than 2 per inning! Somebody's head will roll, I think.
EDIT: Oh, that's LOB by batter. LOB by team was a 'mere' 22.
BREWERS LEFTFIELDER RYAN BRAUN LEFT THE GAME IN THE THIRD INNING DUE TO SORENESS IN HIS RIGHT THUMB.
I'm glad someone picked up on that... it pisses me off when people look at the lob by batter and make a claim.... technically speaking a guy who comes up with the bases loaded and no outs and hits a single, scoring two runs is charged with 1 lob. It's a horrible way to look at it... only thing matters is the lob by team total.
Brandon belt just cranked a homer off a lefty pitcher
Dan Uggla now has 12 home runs and 2 doubles.
Jose Bautista might be the biggest whiner in baseball. If he didn't hit home runs for the Toronto Blue Jays, I'd hate him. He's just always jawing at the umpires.
That was probably the least clutch tenth-inning grand slam in major league history.
