We've induced FOUR double plays from the Cards, and yet we're still probably going to lose. Baseball's a heck of a game.
Four-pitch inning by Wainwright... kinda ridiculous.
Really??? Another double play??? C'mon Kozma... That play does not work in the majors....
and Wainwright issues his first walk of the year
Hey, a Jim Edmonds jersey in DC! Is that actually Jim Edmonds?
They lead the league in OPS+!
I'm just hanging around Cards-Nats because Harper's up next inning. That's when you know he's awesome in THAT way.
C'mon you have to be watching because of the greatness that is Wainwright... going for his second complete game shutout of the year. (yes I know that is redundant)
Wow...great knee buckler there from Waino.
But I think the answer is pretty clearly Gerald Laird.
Must be nice as a pitcher when you can count on gift calls like that called third strike. LaRoche should be standing on first.
Julio Teheran just looks too hittable. The stuff's not bad, but it's like he's missing just one MPH off his fastball. The location's not terrible, but he always catches a little too much of the plate with two strikes. Something's just...off.
