I'm just hanging around Cards-Nats because Harper's up next inning. That's when you know he's awesome in THAT way.
C'mon you have to be watching because of the greatness that is Wainwright... going for his second complete game shutout of the year. (yes I know that is redundant)
Wow...great knee buckler there from Waino.
But I think the answer is pretty clearly Gerald Laird.
Must be nice as a pitcher when you can count on gift calls like that called third strike. LaRoche should be standing on first.
Julio Teheran just looks too hittable. The stuff's not bad, but it's like he's missing just one MPH off his fastball. The location's not terrible, but he always catches a little too much of the plate with two strikes. Something's just...off.
Would really have liked if Ichiro had done that shoot an arrow celebration that Rodney does.
Y'all going to make me lose my mind.
Evan Longoria is not impressed by him.
The Cards have not swept a road series against the Expos/Nats since 1969. 1969! Going for the sweep tomorrow.
Jean Segura hits his 2nd triple of the year. Kid got wheels.
Great catch by Baker on Hamilton's flyball. Looked fair, saved a run. I think he's hurt.
Teheran pitched a heck of a game tonight - 7ip 90 pitches, 70 strikes no walks one run. 8 hits, but he managed quite well with runners on.
But last in grit!
