Dan McClaughlin is an idiot... Where is Al Hrabosky? Horton isn't bad, but Mcclofflin is an idiot.
i acknowledge the importance of not being a complete moron with the basics but give me a guy who can put the right guys in the right place and gets them to hustle regularly. that is the guy i want in the dugout.
running ron (as he is known) does that. that is no small thing
Dan McClaughlin is an idiot.
Absolutely (to quote Hrabosky); I don't watch the Cardinals very often but I would much rather listen to Horton & Hrabosky as opposed to McClaughlin & anyone else.
49 homers hit last night in 15 games... that seems unusually high.
(Edwin) Jackson seems to be that inconsistently consistent type. Within a season he's going to be up and down but when the accounting is done he's going to have about a 110ERA+, 12-14 wins and 200 or so innings in the books.
Jackson doesn't really concern me -- he is what he is, a maddeningly inconsistent SP with better than average stuff. The Cubs desperately needed SP innings -- and Jackson is/was as good a bet as any to lock into 200 IP.
WTF HAMILTON! Got tagged out going for 3rd, they're saying before Trumbo touched the plate. Hamilton over-aggressive, Trumbo lollygagging it home. Even when they're winning, they're stupid.
He may eat innings, but I'd want something more than that for my $52 million.
I hate to say it, but that is about the going rate for that type of pitcher.
Apparently the Nationals-Braves game tonight on ESPN will have the color commentators calling it from the dugouts with only the main guy being in the booth? Unless that was a joke earlier...
The crowds for these games in Atlanta are pretty pathetic.
Natitude adds an extra 1,500 to attendance.
What about Gattitude?
What about Gattitude?
Hello from the second highest row at Yankee Stadium.
he's busy giving herpes to some single mother out in the parking lot.
I'm still trying to figure out how they worked Jackie Robinson into a Doctor Who episode???
Ben Chapman was a Dalek. DISCRIM-INATE! DISCRIM-INAAAAAATE!
I think he really likes Milwaukee, and the fans seem to love him (the YUNI!s are nearly as loud as the LUUUUUUC!s from where I sit). It's good to see.
PLEASE DO NOT BE HURT BRYCE HARPER.
OH CRAP HE'S HURT.
What happened? Did it look bad?
I seriously want to vomit.
Radio guys saying it looks like something in the left oblique area.
Bryce Harper is being pulled from the game. Looks like something with his oblique or his side.
Wait, I change channels for a few minutes and now Harper is hurt? HARPER IS HURT!?!?!?!
WHY, UNIVERSE, WHY!?!?!?!
The universe is jealous of Bryce Harper.
Ryan Raburn is now 10 for his last 11, according to the Cleveland radio broadcast.
Harper is hurt? nooooo
The Nationals win.....
BUT AT WHAT COST!?!?!
But it could always be worse. I could be an Angels fan.
