yes, they are. I've read a number of posts/comments (other sites, of course) that equate winning the division with winning the pennant.
I find it hard to believe that Natinal fans are stupid.
On the other hand, I would be thoroughly unsurprised to find that Atlanta Braves fans are dumber than ten sacks of rocks.
At least you can rely on them to fly their flags right side up.

So, is there a divisional prohibition against two teams from the same division playing in the LDS? Besides the Nats defeating the Braves in the division, if the Braves do advance, there is a not impossible chance they'd have a the third best record - would the Nats get the Giants?
The Nats having to play the first two of the LDS in Atlanta just seems wrong - and I say that as a Braves fan.
I am nearly certain that MLB did away with that prohibition.
By the way, Robin, don't think I've congratulated you. Congratulations.
I suppose if the Cards do advance, they're clearly worse than the other four teams.
