i think it's a defensible remark.
i think it fits for young
i think it fits for howard
i think it fits rollins
and if i was being unduly harsh i might write utley who looks to be on the downside due to injury
Utley played well when healthy last year, 2.9 bWAR in 83 games. He won't ever have 30 HR power again, granted. He has allegedly learned a lot about his knees and their care so we'll see. I'm cautiously optimistic that he plays 120-130 games, which ought to give us a 4+ WAR player.
for your sake i hope so. but boy, that's an old team
Well he does play defense like Dorn. I tried to find a GIF of the ball that Young "Dorned" at third base in the 2010 World Series but I had no luck, unfortunately. But pretend that I linked it here.

Lindblom has also had issues throwing strikes consistently in the majors, which precludes giving him a bigger role in the pen.
If there's one area where the Philles have prospect depth, it's in hard-throwing pitching prospects with control issues. I don't know that this is the best use of that prospect depth but I get that they don't want to blow it up quite yet, as long as they have the big 3 fronting the rotation.
