Let’s be honest: The trade of R.A. Dickey has given Mets fans every reason to punt on the 2013 season.
Yes, you’re looking ahead to 2014 and 2015, but 2013 comes first.
And maybe, just maybe, there’s a way we can pretend that the Mets could be contenders this year.
So that got me thinking—what is that one combination in 100 that puts the Mets into October?

A Cespedes for the rest of this.
I think I'm a little weird in that my order of rooting goes
1. My home team
2. Other pet teams for whatever reason(currently none)
3. Any team from my home teams division(Yes I will root for the Cubs if they are in the post season and the Cardinals are not)
4. NL
5. Anyone playing against the Red Sox, Yankees. Or any team that will piss their fans off.
1. A’s (many former D Backs, Billy Beane, great story)
2. Nationals (Mike Rizzo, even though I think he mishandled Strasburg)
3. Reds (Great pitching…although Cueto just got hurt….I love pitching)
4. Tigers (See above…I want A’s to get there..but if they don’t, I like Detroits starters)
5. Orioles (For sure want to see them win ALDS, but they are not great team)
6. Cardinals (Had enough of them)
7. Braves (done) Best line of the night last night at the Bar “Drinks are on Chipper”
8. Rangers (done) Ron Washington bugs me
9. Yankees (Because we are supposed to hate the Yankees, it’s like a rule, isn’t it ?)
10. Giants (I can’t describe how much I would hate to see them win another World Series
The ghost of Jason Larue kicked him.
He got injured somehow throwing a pitch (or not throwing a pitch if you ask the announcers as he was in motion and they called time out and instead of throwing the pitch, he stopped himself, and a few pitches later he wasn't able to throw.
my rooting interests now that the nolan ryans have been flushed down the tube!!!!!
any NL team (my mama told me that i'm rooting for the cards again, so i guess so)
any non_yankees DHleague team
if this isn't the time for a sac-bunt by the PITCHER i don't know what is
