Well, it's easy to say now, but I don't see why. Posey isn't an extreme homerun threat (especially compared to Pence), and I'd much much much rather have the tying run at the plate than on base.
In that case, the Indians and Angels are both 2-1 in series against the Yankees, and the Tigers are 2-0.
