He does this all the time- pull a far superior hitter so he can get a righty/lefty matchup. And it especially makes no sense because Belt actually hits lefties FAR better than righties- OPS of .667 against righties and 1.001 against lefties this year. Christian, by the way, has an .387 OPS against lefties...
