Just two guys, talking baseball, presumably at a Tim Horton’s.

RG: When you talk to agents or other GMs now do you detect a different vibe than when you were starting out? Do they know where you’re coming from before you even come from there?
AA: I never thought about it that way. Over time you get to know them better and they get to know me better. So, from a working relationship standpoint it’s better that way. I think having dealt with (Marlins GM) Larry Beinfest trying to get Dan Uggla ...

Of the 1,188 knuckleballs thrown in the majors this season, 1,186 have been delivered by Dickey. (The other two? Those came from Kansas City Royals outfielder Mitch Maier, during an April 15 mop-up appearance against the Indians, according to ESPN Stats & Information.)

So there are two active knuckleballers!

The article says that Wright's fastball touches 90, and he also has a sinker and a cutter and throws his knuckleball 65 to 85 percent of the time. So he's more a Tom Candiotti-type than a pure knuckleballer.
