It also reminded me of a Bill James story about being at a deciding Royals playoff game that the Royals were going to lose, and comparing it to having 40,000 spectators crammed together at your grandma's deathbed shouting "Croak! I'm a huge fan of the BBTF format. No avatars, no signatures, no threaded comments, no smiley graphics, just plain text in the order we say it. It's clean, easy to read and follow, and free of unnecessary crap.
