People were walking a shovelfull of snow from in front of the dugout to somewhere beyond centerfield wall.
MLB Network showed speeded up video of the clean up. People were walking a shovelfull of snow from in front of the dugout to somewhere beyond centerfield wall. Shouldn't they have pulled up trucks next to the dugout to transport the snow?
How about landing a helicopter on the field, surely the friction of being whipped up will melt some of the snow. And the damage would only be where the craft landed.
Just trying to think outside the box here. The idea of walking a shovel of snow from the dugout to the outfield fence is boggling my mind.
Yep, this global warming, I mean "climate change", is really something. Clearly we're all fated to die in a watery global inferno.
I bet it snows all the time in Antartica. Because its cold there.
Most of Antarctica is a desert. There's very little snowfall, but what falls never melts.
This is by far the most snow we've had all year. The last few winters have been very mild with little snow, so I'm happy to get all the moisture I can.
