Rule 5 picks really come out of nowhere. IIRC, Dan Uggla and Joakim Soria made virtually no Rule 5 Draft previews.
Freaking out about the whole draft because the Astros aren't good at scouting talent is pretty dumb. The Astros not being good at scouting talent is the whole reason they were picking first overall to begin with.
