    Whenever this thread slips into lounge mode I am reminded why I wouldn't like it there.

    I think Jolly Old might enjoy it--it's a lot like that classic movie, The Women. Only without the balls of the women in The Women. If John Hughes had written The Women. as if it were a Simpsons episode. Sort of a The Breakfast Club Meets at Camp Krusty.

    I did! I was unemployed and he yelled at me about coming up with a game plan towards finding a job and I kinda threw myself into that for the next few months. I hustled resumes and cover letters and went on every interview I was invited to, even if I didn't want the job, just for practice. I ended up with an awesome gig with great people in an industry with a lot of excitement and opportunity. It's no excuse, but the process was draining, and I avoided the lounge (and this site in general) because it was a time suck for me. That was a year and a half ago, and I haven't thanked Harveys. I will next I see him around.
