What is the furthest that a bottom-rung team has advanced in the FA Cup?
Or, which team has played further into the tournament than any other, given their league level?
Of course, Cosmin Moti (the Ludogorets defender/keeper) is Romanian, and came up with Dinamo, Steaua's bitter rivals. He urged Dinamo supporters to come to the game in Bucharest to support Ludogorets.
In England "keeper" is more commonly used than "goalie", in my experience, though you do hear both. I have never heard anyone say one or the other is "correct".
I only came close to actually playing in anger between the sticks once, it looked like almost to game time I'd have to play.
We should organize ourselves into a team and join Serie B. Who's with me?
I want to be the guy that holds the signboard up with substitutes' numbers and stoppage time. That seems like it would be a pretty easy gig.
That would be the 4th official... not actually part of a team.
Bin Laden for Arsenal (runner up Piers Morgan).
Chelsea: Tara Reid
Man City: Noel and Liam Gallagher
Liverpool: They're all embarrassing.
Also, I'm pleased with that CL draw. I figure we have a better than 50% chance to make the knockout round, though Basel could certainly upset the applecart.
Joe Gyau (Borussia Dortmund II), Rubio Rubin (Utrecht), Bobby Wood (1860 Munich)
Rubio Rubin is only 18 total.
By the way, many media outlets are having fun today pointing out that Man U have easily the most expensively constructed squad in England now.
Is this really evidence of that? They taking him on loan, not buying for some huge sum.
