This isn't really what you're asking,
Yeah, that was pretty much what I was asking.
Depends. I am not familiar with how exactly the NASL worked this.

I'm biased (as we all are) because I dislike Liverpool (world class player/biter in particular), but I'm trying to be objective in saying we just watched the best two teams in EPL this year. Chelsea and City might eventually coagulate to their potential, but Everton is a tremendous team. More to the point, and less subjectively, I think just about all of us can agree we just saw the two best midfields in the EPL there...and maybe two of the five-six-seven best in the world right now, in terms of how they play together.
What's going on with Jovetic -- hurt, poor form, a combination of both?
It is a small world. There are a couple of people making positive comments about you at RAWK MCoA.
Be careful. That's like having Kim-Jong-un for a groupie.
How significant is the stuff coming out about players in lower leagues intentionally getting carded in matches?
I am not familiar with the history of match fixing in England. How significant is the stuff coming out about players in lower leagues intentionally getting carded in matches?
It's also relevant in this context that cricket has seen a number of high profile spot-fixing scandals in recent years, including one that resulted in the Pakistani equivalent of Stephen Strasburg receiving a five year ban for an incident in Pakistan-England match in London and a couple of established English professionals banned for activities in English domestic games.
Sort of related-I remember back in the day, when it seemed like every 4 weeks some new rape allegation or wife cheating scandal would hit...and it carried only 1% of the impact (John Terry notwithstanding) there than it would in the USA.
Well, personally I think there is a rather huge difference between rape allegations, and cheating allegations. YMMV, but in that case, you are a monster.
And it would seem that the sexual assault matter was usually alleged to have been made up. If that happened in the US, it would be a long, drawn out affair.
So here's how dumb I am - I knew that tradition mandates playing on Boxing Day, but I didn't know they'd go Thursday-Saturday. What happens if the 26th is a Friday? (Yes, I know I'll find out next year, just tell me now.) Or Monday?
Is Boxing Day the only reason they would regularly schedule matches with just one day in between?
I turn on the Bayern/City game in the 12th minute and City are already down two! Holy crap!
That was a really, really soft penalty.
Wow, City's B team beat Bayern in Munich after going down 2-0? I certainly would not have called that one.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen could miss the entire festive period due to an ankle injury, according to The Guardian.
Vertonghen sustained the injury during Spurs’ 2-1 victory over Fulham last week and, although he tweeted that he hoped the injury was not too severe, the newspaper says an initial MRI scan suggested a ligament tear and a layoff of around four weeks.
So I'm learning a lot about European free market economics through FM 2013. I like how the players can renegotiate their contracts, but holy hell they seem to wield a lot of power when it comes to getting moved when they are unhappy. Especially when they have massively overrated their own talent.
"I should be playing on the Senior team!! Loan me out or play me or take recourse on the matter."
Well, one, I don't like threats. Two, you're not good enough to play on the Senior Team, and three...no one wants to take you out on loan. Now GTFO.
I was happy with what I paid price given that FM is basically the only computer game I play anymore.
I discovered this American kid who was a God at age 17, and got him to sign for Partick Thistle (Second tier Scottish in 2012). I looked him up and apparently he's a programmer. I then sold him for 7,000,000 mill. A team like Thistle getting 7 mill doesn't seem particularly realistic.
Spurs' left has been a mess since Rose went down for "a couple of weeks", 3 *months* ago, but frankly, AVB needs dinging for coming into the season thinking Rose was the front-line answer at that position to begin with, or at least without procuring another left back of at least a similar quality (and, no, Kyle Naughton isn't that answer).
Jonathan Wilson has ANOTHER! book out
I'm exceptionally confused. Are there two famous soccer-writer Jonathan Wilsons? This article can not possibly be talking about the one I'm familiar with.
Ah! That's a weird coincidence. Too many Jonathan Wilson's running around writing about soccer.
In unrelated news, Boring James Milner's twitter was introduced to me this morning. So great.
