The Galaxy/MUFC slipped by me and I just saw the score. Really? LvG must be somewhat intense.
A manager at Heathrow's Post House hotel said: "They were utterly disgusting. They just didn't seem to care about what had happened.
He added: "We had a lot of Americans here and were simply trying to comfort them in their hour of need. Meanwhile these men were laughing and joking, taking off their clothes and abusing our guests."
One witness said: "One of them was walking around laughing with everything hanging out out while on TV there were crying firemen searching for bodies. It was sick."
Frank Lampard. I was already going to pass on NYC FC but it's nice to know that MLS is very specifically trying to keep me from latching onto a New York MLS team and that I'm not, in fact, dangerously paranoid. Anyway, I look forward to his pre-arranged photo op pilgrimage to Ground Zero.
I have a pre-dispossed hate towards NYC teams and anything Manchester related, but I'm probably going to have to make an exception for Super Frank. Hopefully, the press doesn't ask him about his feelings about 9/11 during his intro, or this may have a ring of Randy Johnson coming to the Yankees.
he speaks in these glowing, romantic terms about LFC, despite the fact that club has won nothing of note for close to a decade now.
The 36-year-old midfielder, who completed his move to the States on a two-year deal on Thursday, insisted he never meant to cause offence and will visit the National September 11 Memorial and Museum to pay his respects.
Suarez had a good tournament, but then he went too far.
[Lampard] never meant to cause offence
She's absolutely going to sell, and she's decided (probably correctly) that she can maximize her takings by selling the registration of every decent player before selling what's left (club, ground, IP, rest of playing staff and place in Premier League (including share of television and other shared revenues and right to parachute payments).
It makes perfect sense from a profit maximizing point of view, but is hellish for Southampton supporters.
After that I suspect Eriksen and Lamela outside with perhaps Paulinho in the middle and a single striker. I haven't watched Spurs play this preseason much, but something like that is probably what he will shoot for once the season starts. Spurs' roster is actually pretty well suited to what he wants to do other than DM. Lloris and Vertonghen are perfect. Schneiderlin and a fullback (actually, they picked up Davies right?) and I think they are pretty much set.
Walker - (New CB) - Verts - Davies----Cap / Schn --- Dem / Paul -------Eriksen -- Lamela -- Lennon ----------------Soldado -------------
Bale off to a good start against Inter (in Berkeley).
