I wonder how the posters on this site would react should the Yankees decided to not sign a player based on nothing more than suspicions and innuendoes? I'm sure they would look upon that kindly and think the Yankees were altruistic in their intentions.
How would we ever know they did this unless Cashman inexplicably shot his mouth off about it?
