Bartolo Colon has agreed to a deal with an unknown club reports Bob Nightengale of USA Today (on Twitter). The right-hander wouldn’t divulge the team because he has not yet passed his physical.
Pretty sure it’s either the All-Stars or the Champs.

1 2 3 >Conversely, the two most loved teams are the Giants and the A's. Everybody likes friendly giants! Everybody likes getting A's!
Oh, no doubt. But the idea that Ohio's teams are 1 and 3 on the most hated list is absurd. The list probably goes 1-2 Yankees, Red Sox in whatever order, (big gap), 3-7, Cubs, Mets, Dodgers, Phillies, Cardinals in some order. Pretty much the same order as most liked.
Totally agree. What is pretty clearly going on there is that, of people who express an opinion about those teams, the proportion that are negative is very high. I think this also at least partially explains the Red Sox being quite a bit above the Yankees; even given all of the recent changes, Red Sox fans are still more prone to self-flagellation than Yankees fans. I also agree with your list.
As a Pittsburgher, I have no trouble at all believing that right-thinking people would hate Cleveland.
When in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf Heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself, and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featur'd like him, like him with friends possess'd,
Desiring this man's art, and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least:
1a. YankeesRedSox (they are fun to hate, so I don't know if it really counts)
1b. Twins
2. Rangers
3. Mariners
4. Giants.
I would like to hate the Angels, but I grudgingly respect them.

I am seriously concerned about a new rise of communism in government. These darned Reds are sending this country to the dogs (much like that irritating Astro on the Jetsons). If we let these idiots in Washington do what they want, we might as well give this country back to the Indians.
That oughta help the Yankees and Red Sox in the ratings.

I support them uncovering this market inefficiency.
This has to be a stupid, stupid algorithm.
There are no stupid algorithms, only stupid people.
I hate:
1a; Yankees
1b; Redsox
gap
2; Phillies
gap
3; Mets (and I'm fan)
4; Bud Selig
5; LA Sportswriters
Their name is stupid. It sounds like an airport.
1. Mets
2. Mets
3. Mets
4. Yankees/Red Sux
5. Nobody else-hate is not good
There are stupid algorithms, like the one in my mp3 player that insists on playing "Born to be wild" twice a day despite having thousands of songs to choose from. Anything that digs classic rock that much has to be stupid by definition.
I'm happy? Hell no.
I'm ticked that the pitching is so awesome and the offense is so ####-tastic
1. Yankees
2. Red Sox
3. Giants
4. Angels
5. Team LaRussa.
2. Giants
3. Red Sox
4. Phillies

End of List
2. Braves
3. Marlins
4. Red Sox
5. Dodgers
2. Phillies
3. Marlins
4. Cardinals
5. Braves
Chasm
2. Dodgers
3. A's
4. Cardinals
5. Braves
Every algorithm is stupid. That's the point, it just dumbly iterates over your information with what ever process you've determined. It is selecting the correct algorithm and making adjustments where smarts comes in.

I can buy that. He's the guy who brought Kevin Garnett to the Celtics.
2. Yankees
3. White Sox
4. Red Sox
5. Marlins
2. Red Sox
I spend all my hatred there. Been the same for over 30 years.
1. Yankees.
After that, it's all dependent on who is good, who the Red Sox have come up against in the playoffs a lot, which personnel is on what team, what kind of obnoxious media attention of one kind or another any given team might get. So currently, it goes like this:
2. Angels, which team I used to root for because Scioscia was my favorite player as a kid.
3. Phillies, because I find thier success annoying.
At various times, other teams have been on this list. The Indians (played them in the playoffs a lot), the Devil Rays (beanball wars with Pedro and Daubach and they sucked so I felt like they should just take their lickings and like it), the White Sox (for erroneous media coverage and Hawk Harrelson), the Twins (tiresome media coverage about how they were anti-moneyball), the Astros (can't remember why), and others. It's constantly shifting.
2. Red Sox fans
3. A.J. Pierzynski
And none of the teams are below zero? They all have positive integers?
Well then, instead of a Hatred Index (obviously no teams are really hated, all +), consider this a Love Index.
Now CLE CIN HOU...not so loved these days by their fans. BOS NYY are heavily watched; they are loved by many, but some of that is evened out by enmity or criticism.
Washington? Well, remember you do have the entire nation of Canada plotting its revenge. 25 million internet users in a population of 33 million people. [Puts down sipping glass of maple syrup to thoughtfully twist moustache; tosses head, chuckles to self]
MON DIEU! Delete delete dele...aahhh
Not to mention the entire Republican Party.
1. Orioles
2. Blue Jays
3. The National League
You must be a Cleveland fan to be jealous of 2 World Championships in 137 years. :)
