The Yankees added Vernon Wells and Lyle Overbay this week. Wells, Overbay, and Ben Francisco are making the team, Rivera was told, according to MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch and others.

That looks right. So really, assuming the options are a no-go, it's going to be about $10.75 million for 1.75 seasons and the buyout.
He’s a little bit younger than the Ty Wigginton/Nick Johnson/Wilson Betemit/Casey Kotchman types, but he’s not as good and he’s way more expensive.
I think I'd rather play Branyan than Lind at this point.
