Hendry signs Bradley to a large multiyear contract and has to ship out some decent players just to make room for him and then all he basically does is add Aaron Miles to the team. For some oddball reason he thinks doing this will get the Cubs up over 90+ wins.
I will sleep better at nights knowing that Aaron Miles is out beating up criminals and won't ever play shortstop for the Cardinals again.
I always kind of felt TLR was grooming Miles to replace himself. Was really surprised this off-season, when they hired Matheny.
But for me, he will always be F Troop reimaged. I know I should blame Hendry for stupidly offering it, not Miles for smartly signing it, but it was like Neifi resurrected.
