Bryce gets it. More power to him.
The intro is the entire article... except the "two very specific words" teased by the last sentence.
“I was lucky enough to get one back from him.
"If I’m in Game 5 of the division series and I’m trying to win this game, I’m playing with a broken hand or a broken arm or anything I can do to help my team.”
The media saw a 17 year old who acted like a jerk and said "Uh-oh, if he doesn't mature by the time he gets to the majors, we'll have a problem." But ... he matured.
Someone needs to break up this reach-around fest.
I'm not sure I understood the Frenchie comparisons until this thread.
Heck, I'm a Phils fan and I love watching Harper play.
And this is why I am morally obliged to nut-punch these Harper worshiping threads.
Considering the difference between a nut-punch and a neck-stab -- the digital psychoanalyst in me thinks you're exhibiting clear signs of a subconscious baseball mancrush that your conscious demands you repress.
I honestly have no idea why anyone other than Natinal fans would like Bryce Harper.
See how this works?
And in case you were wondering, two very specific words also left his mouth:
I honestly have no idea why anyone other than Natinal fans would like Bryce Harper. Fans of Philly rooting for him is just stupid.
Sports is about tribalism, not drum circles and everyone getting a participation trophy.
You know, Rickey, it's possible to be not rooting against someone, but also not rooting for them.
He's kind of the NRA of Atlanta sports.
In fact, I'm hard pressed to think of a Brave I've hated.
Come on Guys, Sam's tongue is so far up is cheek he is almost hurting himself.
