< 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 >Ball hit near the camera well on the first-base side. Dutch player reaches for it but misses, leans down into the well and comes up with the ball, holding it in his gloves. The umpires apparently had a blocked view and didn't see that the catch wasn't made, so they called the batter out when they saw the player come up with the ball.

Thanks!
then again, Nohmi seems pretty untouchable right now
Also only used 40 pitch to get through 3. not bad.
Plz start hitting Nohmi.
KUO!
Please crush the ball.
now loaded with HBP
KUO!!!!! 96!!!!
I was in the other room for a few minutes, and when I heard the loud roars, I thought Japan had taken the lead in the top of the 9th.
Imagine my surprise when I realized the loud crowd was for CT taking the lead.
As RW says, CT's fans are LOUD in there.
anyone else thinking the Honkballers could actually win this thing?
And there is STILL the bottom of the 9th to go!
Also, this reinforces my desire to attend a baseball game in Japan at some point in my life.
though it does put Japan in a bind, they alerady used a lot of pitchers and now have to call another one without notice at the worst time possible.
