I was at that game. I could not believe they didn't delay it earlier. The field was much worse in person than it looked on TV.

I read somewhere that a good rule of thumb is that the rain always looks worse on TV but the field always looks worse in person.

Really? I guess it depends on the camera angle. There a lot of times watching a game on TV where you can't even tell it's raining, including this one.
