< 1 2 3- Oh my god it was cold. A chilly night to start with and some intense wind. MANY people in my section left after 5 or 6 innings. My group of seven was reduced to four by the sixth inning, and I watched the last two innings by myself.
- I got pooped on by a seagull. I was out in the bleachers just a little bit down from where they really took over. It wasn't a direct hit, but it was still pretty hazardous trying to watch the final inning.
- It's a miracle the Dutch made it as far as they did. Fun team, and I was happy to see them, but man did they not look like they were ever going to score any runs.
- The inning when the DR scored was definitely the highlight. Lots of noise, lots of excitement. It was definitely a pro-DR crowd and they really got into it there.
- Robinson Cano is good at baseball and it drives me crazy.
That is supposedly a sign of good luck. Not seeing it.
Or as I like to call it, pulling a Michael Chang ( Sampras / Lendl and Edberg on the way to the French Open )
