In fact, and this is murder 1, it’s become cool to say that you don’t go to White Sox games.
Somehow I don't think you can call Chicago a city that is economically fragile and not baseball crazy.
It's town that is losing population and supports the Bears.
Chicago proper actually gained population between 2000 and 2010
not according to the Census. Although it has increased a modest amount in pop. from 2010-2012 according to the same Census.
Trouble is for the Chisox, most of those helping spark said renaissance have little, if any, enthusiasm for the team; the blue-collar, ethnic Sox aren't a team with appeal for young, college-educated professionals.
