Players injured during the World Baseball Classic will have their salaries paid by the WBC organization while they are unable to play for their major league teams, according to an MLB source.
That would mean that players such as Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira and Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez will be paid by the WBC during their respective absences.

What I find annoying is that I'd assume in picking Jupiter over any other Florida site, they would have good reason to think it'd be available in November. Apparently not. And of course, if they knew it'd be in September, that'd open up a lot more options - hell, they could have the damn thing in Brooklyn, or wherever.
And while I'm complaining about stuff, don't you think it's about time they updated the website? Is anybody in charge here?
As a 56 year old, I can give them one out per game, Jesse Orosco style, if needed!
"Zosky to Newhan to Green."
Trio of Semites, and fleeter than birds,
Zosky and Newhan and Green.
Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble,
Making a South African hit into a double –
Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble:
"Zosky to Newhan to Green."
