I think pitchers are becoming like thoroughbreds. They're approaching their anatomical limits, and like the ankles of racehorses, their elbows are exploding from torque and stress. It used to be throwing 90 meant you were a stud. 90 nowis an entry-level fastball.
This is not in jeopardy, right? It's just over. You can't pitch with a torn elbow ligament.
