Why did Pelfrey hit the DL? And do ML rehab assignments count as roster spots for the various affiliates?

Strained right lat, according to Norfolk's Web site.

And do ML rehab assignments count as roster spots for the various affiliates?

They do not.

Roster limits in AA and AAA went back to 24 from 23 yesterday, and will remain there until the end of the season, so there will likely be some more moves.

From what I heard, Billy Buckner was not DLed, but deactivated, I suppose to allow Wichita to get down to 24 until they make another move.
