As Chicago’s “King Mike” Cassius McDonald sorta said…“There’s a sucker born every hour”
Not long after they went on sale Saturday morning, tickets to Pearl Jam’s concert at Wrigley Field this summer sold out. The band says it was the fastest concert sell-out in the history of Wrigley Field concerts.
Tickets to the July 19 show went on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. In a Tweet Saturday morning, Pearl Jam said, “Thank you for making ‘An evening with @Pearl Jam’ the fastest concert sell-out in Wrigley Field history!”
By about 11 a.m., tickets to the show could be found for between $50 and $360 apiece on craigslist, and from about $270 to more than $1,000 on StubHub.
