WEEI/Red Sox Jimmy Fund Telethon

WEEI (the Red Sox radio partner) has more than a few horrible people working for them and the Sox are not perfect either.  But every year they raise millions of dollars for a truly great cause (Dana Farber at Charity Navigator)

The 18th annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon presented by Arbella Insurance Foundation is taking place this Tuesday and Wednesday in support of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Over the span of 36 hours and two Boston Red Sox games, the broadcast will feature inspiring stories from patients, doctors, researchers, and athletes. In 2018, the event raised an incredible $4.4 million to support Dana-Farber’s lifesaving mission.

There are any number of ways to try and make our little blue ball hurtling through space better.  This is but one but does have a baseball link so I’ve shared it here.
