We don't know this. This is not his top 50 today, this is his top 50 from last year at this time and how he did with that list. For example, after making 31 MLB starts Matt Moore is no longer a prospect. FTFA;
Sickels has his top 50 prelims out for pitching and hitting....
A relatively impressive 5 Cubs make the top 50 hitters -- led by Baez clocking in at #5, along with Almora (36), Soler (37), and Dan Vogelbach (50). Plus - I really, really like Christian Villanueva - maybe more than any of those guys save Baez.
None of those guys are particularly advanced -- Vogelbach, in particular, I'm still waiting for someone to prove to me that he's not Brian Dopirak.
Hmmmm....Billy Hamilton #7. I know he's fast as the wind and everything and we're probably all hoping he makes it but he struggles to hit 300 in AA, has no power and Ks a good bit for a guy with his hitting profile. I think we might be talking more Tony Womack than Ichiro.
