2012 World Series Game 4 OMNICHATTER

Remember the 2012 season? It started over in Japan, and, like, it was between the Mariners and the Athletics, and nobody really gave a darn, since OBVIOUSLY neither of them would be in the playoff picture? And remember when Matt Cain threw that perfect game, and the Orioles made the playoffs, and Josh Hamilton went deep four times in one night? And the Red Sox drama! And… and…

Well, this might be it… OR WILL IT?!?

San Francisco Giants (Cain) @ Detroit Tigers (Scherzer). SF leads 3-0.

I don't mind the interviews. I'm unclear as to why they need to show the player being interviewed. All the other talking that goes on is done while showing the game. no reason the interview couldn't be audio only.

If the Tigers only score 2 runs they are not likely to win this game. It is possible, of course, but it would be better if they scored a few more.

None of the dreadful things that have happened under the reign of O'Nora have inspired such a great work as de civitate contra paganos, so Honorius is still ahead, Alaric's sack of Rome nothwithstanding.

Belt could have slapped that ball down with his glove, right? Sorta like a hockey goalie might? That would be an amazingly alert play, but I believe it would be legal.

Edited to add: Not that I think he should have...

I don't know much about it, so you're probably right. One question - is there real thought in the selection process? I'll be impressed if there are average players who have won the award and not just stars and superstars.
