Theriot as a DH is no worse than Quintin Berry batting second. He had a nice long AB in the first inning, but other than that he has not even looked like a major-leaguer this postseason. Or since July.

he was hoping for fielder to step on it and throw to second immediately, but fielder saw it. good play by both, although scutaro could have made it look like he was taking off... if he goes to second he´s out by three miles !
