And then Buck said Garcia was on deck when he was actually the one at the plate, and the camera was right on him, and Cabrera was on deck.

Now watch the Giants take the lead in the top of the 9th.
Filling sandbags? Bailing?
Swinging and missing into a lot of bad luck, too.
1997 ended in extra innings.
Yankees did it in 2000 against the Mets didn't they?
Have a Coke and a simile.
Is it just me, or did they not do this back in the day? Announce the count before every pitch just to have something to say? Maybe they did and I of course just hate Buck.
Game 5 of the NLDS against the Reds is calling
Game 1 went 12 but the Yankees won the last game with 2 runs in the 9th.
Nope - Game 5 was decided in the ninth, as was Game 7 in 2001, of course.
???
Yep, hard to have a walk-off win on the road.
Well damn.
EDIT: Cokes all around. I was assuming they didn't have home field for the WS as the wild card.
And the answer appears to be the '92 Blue Jays.
EDIT: Coke to Larry. I have very little memory of the '92 series, actually.
No lead changes; this game already has two, plus another rally to tie. The Reds got the go-ahead run up twice in the ninth, sure. Every batter in this ninth inning is the go-ahead run, as was every batter in the eighth.
Game 3 of the NLDS was the leader before this one, with Game 5 a reasonably close second.
time... is on ... your side !
The former.
PUGG-it. Rhymes with "chug it."
I thought it was kind of neat.
Yeah, that was my other thought. I wish I'd been smart enough to mute that.
At least he could come out of this with a nickname that would be a huge spoiler for a future season of Game of Thrones.
